Bethany has been coming to the Eyeworks since she was 10 months old. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and I have always found it a relaxing experience. Bethany always looks forward to her appointments.
The Eyeworks have helped me improve my trampolining by giving me contact lenses. I wouldn't have got this far with glasses as they would fly off whenever I did double somersaults. Everyone is really nice at The Eyeworks, when I walk in they make me feel welcome. I enjoy going because they are all so nice to me.
I would highly recommend Dylan the Optometrist and all of the staff at The Eyeworks. The front of house staff are always ready to help to choose your glasses.
Thanks to Dylans expertise and knowledge, he found a serious problem with my eyes, once the hospital were notified I have had two emergency ops and will having a third in January.
Thank you for saving my sight.
Many thanks to you all.
I woke up one morning recently to discover that I was unable to see through my right eye. I contacted my Optician, The Eyeworks, and arrangements were made for me to attend shortly afterwards.
As I am a diabetic, an appointment was made for me to be seen by Dylan Barton, Optometrist, who gave me a thorough examination, including a scan. He immediately arranged for me to be seen at Arrowe Park hospital that same day and thanks to Dylan's action, I received treatment, that is ongoing. I would have no hesitation in recommending any patient to The Eyeworks, whose care and attention is unsurpassed.
I had noticed that the sight in one of my eyes had been blurred for a few days. I rang for advice and was told to come in but was unable to attend for an opticians appointment that same day.
I, as it turned out, wrongly assumed it would right itself. Two days later I was in the shop next to the Eyeworks when David, the optician came in. He asked how I had got on with my eye. When I told him I was waiting for it to right itself he offered to take a look as he had 15 minutes before going to a meeting.
After checking my eye he said he felt that I should go to Arrowe Park Hospital straight away and that, as his meeting was there he would be happy to take me. His diagnosis of a tear on my retina was correct and after numerous appointments and laser treatment the problem was rectified.
I can't thank David enough, as those 15 minutes may have prevented me from losing the sight completely in my eye, which in turn would have had serious implications for me in my work role.
I am a cycling instructor who rides six days a week for business and pleasure. I also enjoy running. These are the main reasons I wanted contact lenses. I now tend to wear them most of the time, around 14 hours a day.
On my first visit to The Eyeworks the optician gave me a thorough eye test then we discussed my options. I needed high power lenses. I was offered a trial. At first I had difficulties putting the lenses in and taking them out, the assistant was very patient with me and demonstrated different methods until I was proficient. I was surprised how comfortable the lenses were, but felt the vision could be a little sharper. After another assessment I had another trial with a different pair with slight adjustments, this process continued until I had the best lenses currently available to me. All the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Eyeworks, Upton.
